Please read, add your thoughts, and share anything interesting you find. I have been a teacher for more years than I would like to admit at this point. I began teaching with a homeschool student, went back to school to get certified and a masters degree, and taught in the Chicago Public School system until I had kid #2. Then, my husband and I packed up the kids and moved back to the Philadelphia area to be near family (babysitting is expensive). I now teach in an independent school outside Philadelphia.
I was a Teacher of the Future in 2009-2010 through NAIS. Here is a link to my very non-slcik video about it.
